Once Upon A Time ....
(in 1994) I dreamed of an ideal and purrfect pet place, where
everyone lives in harmony and everything is for the best!
Happy doggies with wagging tails, purring kitties, bubbling fish, and wing
flapping birds. So with a dream and a leash I started Head to Tail Pet
Sitting Services, a full service pet care provider in the Valparaiso,
Porter County area. My mission has always been to provide professional
loving care for all pets, while also providing a sense of comfort for the
pet owners. After 13 years I have lots of experience doing just that.
Head to Tail is recommended by a local Vet, Dr. Larry and
Dr. Steve from McAfee's Animal Hospital when his clients
are looking for an alternative to boarding.
Call them and ask: 462-5901.

A little about myself...
Hi my name is Tami and I am the owner of Head to Tail. I began pet sitting in 1994 when after the Title Search company I
worked for decided to sell and the new owners decided to down size. I took a year off from work to figure out what I
wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I have always loved animals and I have owned almost every kind of pet from a salamander to a pony named Jingles. At
the age of 15 I joined Dr. Tursmans group for youths that wanted to become Veterinarians. I loved the idea of becoming a
vet but alas it was not my calling. Although Dr. Larry McAfee always tells me that I should have become one. I learned that
I wanted to take care of animals, so began my life of taking in strays or adopting them.
I took a course on animal care in 1995 and learned how to look for signs of illness. Perform CPR, tend and injuries and
much more. That and Dr. McAfee has taught me how to administer Sub Q Fluids and Insulin shots. He even let me watch
as he spayed my dog Koda.
Right now I am working on becoming a Certified Pet Sitter and taking Pet CPR. Although I know Pet CPR, I am not certified
yet.
I do carry Insurance with a special property coverage that is better than being bonded.
I hope you consider me as your new pet sitter and look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!!!!!!!!!!
